Hello forum members,
I would like to incorporate the Big Lot Block Alert in my trading system. It is the volume reference that I need to help show the price push that I need. I trade the CL and the TF and noticed that the Lot size alert level needs to be set lower than in the examples I have seen (ES). I preferred the limit to be set at a 20 lot. That was the average threshold that I noticed that big buyers would start at. The problem is that it created a mess of the chart and I would start to lose the numbers and dots within each other. They would start to pile on each other especially on 11:28 6 Range bar. See the screenshot here:
I was wondering if there was a way to modify the indicator to display the incoming lots and not lose the information in the midst of all the other data plots. I was thinking on dumbing down the indicator to show two numbers: the cumulative lot total and the most recent incoming lot size.
It would be nicer to keep the plots as close to price as possible. One restriction will be the spacing of the bars. I like having as much of price I can on my chart so that causes the dots to clump together (see above picture).
Is it possible to add a(some) features to account for this high activity and low alert level? Does anyone else have any ideas?
